Hoy empiezo a acordarme de Miguel Donoso Pareja: hiperconciencia de una memoria creativa (Crítica)

Abstract

La autora lee la novela Hoy empiezo a acordarme, del ecuatoriano Miguel Donoso Pareja, desde la perspectiva de la ficción como un intento –vano–, por parte del narrador, de encontrarse a sí mismo, escritura-travesía hacia un yo que resulta ser siempre “otro”. El personaje pretendería transformar no exclusivamente su realidad, sino la ficción misma en un universo navegable para el lector, la escritura fragmentada en vehículo que no lo lleve a destino alguno, sino a su propio punto de partida. Más que construir una novela de perfección formal, el narrador pretendería involucrar al lector en su propio viaje-búsqueda. Donoso partiría de la escritura como presencia y ausencia, como verdad y mentira, para construir esta novela con historias fragmentadas que se alimentan tanto del recuerdo como del olvido, en un cabal ejercicio de hiperconciencia narrativa.

The author offers an analysis of the novel Hoy empiezo a acordarme, by the Ecuadorian Miguel Donoso Pareja, based on the notion that fiction is a vain attempt by the narrator to find himself, a writing-journey towards an I that always turns out to be “another.” The character aims to transform exclusively his reality, but the fiction itself in a navigable universe for the reader, the fragmented writing as a vehicle that does not take him to any destiny, but to his own point of departure. Even more important than constructing a novel of formal perfection, the narrator would aim to involve the reader in his own journey-search. Donoso would consider the text as both presence and absence, as both truth and falsehood, to construct this novel with fragmented stories that are constructed as much from the memory as well as oblivion, in a clear exercise of narrative hyper-conscience.
