| dc.description | Argentina’s last military dictatorship imposed a repressive regime that used both public and clandestine mechanisms to function. The former drafted laws, and the latter established Clandestine Centers of Detention (CCD) for the concentration, torture and disappearance of persons. When the dictatorship came to an end, these places were re-appropriated, given new meaning and refurbished by former detainees, the relatives of disappeared persons, and human rights organizations. The present article examines the narratives relative to the issues of Memory, Truth and Justice emerging after the dictatorship. As a case study, it includes the transformation of the CCD called La Perla into a space for memory. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | La última dictadura militar argentina impuso un sistema represor que funcionó con mecanismos públicos y clandestinos. El primero produjo leyes; y el segundo creó Centros Clandestinos de Detención (CCD) para concentración, tortura y desaparición de personas. Al finalizar la dictadura, estos lugares fueron reapropiados, resignificados y rehabitados por exdetenidos, familiares de desaparecidos y organizaciones de derechos humanos. Este artículo analiza los discursos sobre la problemática de la Memoria, Verdad y Justicia, luego de la dictadura.
