| dc.description | Bridging the Quechua-Andean Peruvian past and present, chronicles are documents that explain the importance of the Quechua harawi (poetry). In spite of the Hispanic prohibition to speak in runa simi and, with it, the attempt to sink the memory of the subjugated world into “oblivion”, both the harawi and the willakuy (stories) have overcome such constraints. At present, Quechua poetry is an extremely important artistic instrument to represent reality. Due to the wealth of poetry collections and the numerous appearances of native haravicus (poets), a national Quechua poetic resurgence can be foreseen. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | En el puente entre el pasado y el presente quechua-andino peruano, las crónicas son documentos en los que se explica la importancia del harawi (poesía) quechua. A pesar de la prohibición hispana para hablar en runa simi y, con ello, hundir en el “olvido” la memoria del mundo sometido, tanto el harawi como los willakuy (relatos) se han sobrepuesto a tal exigencia. En la actualidad, la poesía quechua es un instrumento artístico de suma importancia para representar la realidad. Por el caudal de poemarios y la numerosa aparición de haravicus (poetas) nativos, se avizora un resurgimiento poético quechua nacional. | es_ES |
