| dc.description | Considering that the grotesque studies on the work of Ruales Hualca have overlooked the figure of the demiurge, this analysis focuses on its characterization in the character of Fetiche and on the presence of a second demiurge through Fantoche. The concept of the demiurge allows for a critique of how the archetypes and expectations that regulate bodies and ways of being have both individual and collective impacts. Furthermore, this study delves into the use of demiurgy employed by Huilo Ruales, enriching the scholarship that regards the Ibarra-born writer as an heir to Valle-Inclán’s aesthetic. The methodology is based on an analysis of the novel Maldeojo (2018), drawing on the bibliography on esperpento, literary criticism, and selected reflections by Roland Barthes. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Considerando que en los estudios esperpénticos sobre la obra de Ruales Hualca se ha ignorado la figura del demiurgo, este análisis se centra en su caracterización en el personaje de Fetiche y la presencia de un segundo demiurgo a través de Fantoche. El demiurgo permite criticar cómo los arquetipos y expectativas que norman los cuerpos y modos de ser impactan individual y colectivamente. Además, este estudio profundiza en la demiurgia empleada por Huilo Ruales, y enriquece los estudios que consideran al escritor ibarreño como heredero de la estética de Valle-Inclán. La metodología se basa en el análisis de la novela Maldeojo (2018), y se apoya en la bibliografía sobre el esperpento, la crítica literaria y algunos apuntes de Roland Barthes. | es_ES |
