| dc.description | This essay illustrates and analyzes three of the major issues that affect and cause suffering to the Ecuadorian immigrant and his immediate family environment in the host country and in the region: the uprooting and its consequences, continuous reflections on the journey; and the dream of returning to Ecuador and disappointments that come when this postponed longing comes true, in accordance with what one imagines, recreates, describes, and hints in the narrative of the novels that represent the sociological phenomenon of the international migration of Ecuadorians towards more developed national states in the Northern Hemisphere, preferably the United States and Spain. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | En este ensayo se fundamentan, ejemplifican y analizan tres de las principales problemáticas que afectan y causan sufrimientos al emigrante ecuatoriano y su entorno familiar más inmediato en el país de destino y en el de origen: el desarraigo y sus consecuencias, las continuas reflexiones sobre el viaje, y el sueño de retornar al Ecuador, así como los desengaños que advienen cuando se concreta este postergado anhelo, de conformidad con lo que se imagina, recrea, describe e insinúa en el discurso narrativo de las novelas que representan el fenómeno sociológico de la emigración internacional de ecuatorianos en dirección a los Estados nacionales de mayor desarrollo, del hemisferio boreal, de manera preferente Estados Unidos de Norteamérica y España. | es_ES |
